(Harry)Harry Markopolos tried to warn the SEC about Madoff. He tried to warn his friends and he tried to warn other investors. He feels badly that he wasn't successful in all cases to warn people off of Madoff. Publicly so far, he feels more sorry that the perpetrator, Bernie!
